Victoria Touzinsky was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended the University of Missouri. There, Victoria worked with survivors of relationship violence through on-campus organizations and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.

Victoria moved to Miami for law school and attended the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Victoria was a member of the Miami Innocence Clinic and performed post-conviction relief for wrongfully incarcerated individuals. This work fostered her desire to help clients navigate the complicated, and sometimes unfair, systems of the law.

After earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami and becoming a member of the Florida Bar, Victoria worked as an Assistant Public Defender. During this time, she gained vast courtroom and trial experience handling hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases. However, what was most impactful to Victoria was advocating for individuals in their most vulnerable and critical times. This inspired her transition to family law and working at Jarbath Pena Law Group, P.A.

Victoria’s interests outside of the law include art and music as well as spending time with her Siamese cat.
