ABOUT
Mevel
Meyvel Mentado Bazan brings a unique blend of linguistic expertise and compassionate support to her role as a family law paralegal. Born in Cuba to a Spanish teacher, she developed a passion for languages early on, majoring in English and French as second languages and graduating in 2011. Her journey to the legal field began with a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives, which initially led her to work with at-risk youth at Cuban American National Council. This experience of helping vulnerable individuals motivated her career shift, where she could provide even more direct support to those facing challenging family situations.
In 2019, Meyvel completed her paralegal studies at the Legal Studies Institute at Florida International University, where she gained the foundational knowledge and skills to thrive as a family law paralegal. Since then, she has been dedicated to assisting clients through some of the most emotionally charged and complex legal processes. Her background working with youth has given her a unique perspective on handling sensitive matters with care and patience. Meyvel’s approach is grounded in empathy, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that each client receives the attention they deserve, knowing how important their family matters are.
Meyvel’s multilingual abilities in English, Spanish, and French, allow her to connect with a diverse range of clients, ensuring they feel heard and understood throughout the legal process. Outside of her professional life, Meyvel enjoys spending time outdoors, dancing, and looks forward to adopting a dog in the near future. These activities help her stay grounded and bring balance to her life, allowing her to continue offering her best to the clients she serves.
