Sarah Thelemaque is a law clerk at Jarbath Pena Law Group. She is a passionate community servant and advocate. She has worked for the firm since she graduated high school and she is keeping up with the firm even now, as a rising third-year law student at Saint Thomas University College of Law.
Sarah began working as a legal assistant at the firm, however, her love for the law and desire to help her community kept her extremely involved beyond just working for a law firm. She has been a youth advocate with the Florida Ad Litem Guardian Program, and she takes pleasure in serving underprivileged youth and families with various non-profit community organizations before attending school.
Sarah attended Florida International University for her undergraduate studies where she graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from Florida. Sarah currently attends Saint Thomas University College of Law where she is the President of the Caribbean Law Students Association and a student liaison for the Honorable Peter Palermo Youth Mentorship program.
Sarah is proud of her Haitian-American roots. She is a first-generation university graduate, who was born and raised in Miami. She is fluent in Haitian Creole. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring nature, creating art, and listening to music.
